Erin came with us to "free day" at the Portland Japanese Garden last Saturday. It was rather busy, but still quite lovely.
David and I had a fun Friday with Erin- we bought him some new shoes and a cute little polo shirt for easter. He also totally scored at Whole Foods by charming the deli counter man. In addition to a ginormous chocolate chip cookie, he also had some gelato, a cracker and a little cheese. Will be hard to live up to that!
David got his cast off last Wednesday!! Woohoo! He celebrated by pulling out wipes and throwing them around the room.
This was also David's 15 month check-up! He gained just over 3 lbs in 3 months bumping him up from the 10th percentile to the 35th for weight! Woohoo! He is in the 90th for height coming in at about 32.5" and his head size is ">95th" percentile...I think he's trying to compete with his cousin Xander...
We were up in Seattle this past weekend to celebrate Ross's parents 30th anniversary and his brother Grant's 22nd birthday. The trip was a little lacking in sleep, but we had a busy, fun, sunny visit.

We took a little walk outside around Belle Square before lunch, giving David ample time to show off his new favorite word, "car".
He says car pretty much nonstop on our walks now, pointing out every car in the neighborhood. Silly little kiddo.

After getting his cast off, David has had a hard time deciding which hand to use for eating. Being the super-eater that he is, he has decided to go for both! For the past ~week he has been starting his day out by using 2 spoons to eat his oatmeal-applesauce.
David loves Ross's bike helmet. We always follow Ross outside to say goodbye in the mornings and chase him down and around the corner waving. Seeing the bike helmet complete with flashing lights is second only to dad himself.
Yesterday Ross took the car to work, so here is a video of David enjoying his favorite word whilst checking himself out in the mirror.
<-- David trying to play with the big kids from next door, he absolutely adores Kohl and Cooper.
And in case you haven't had the opportunity to meet my amazing neighbors, I stole her picture from facebook (without permission...)- aren't they adorable?
They just got a new puppy on Saturday and David and I are both completely in love. Franklin is quite cute and very snuggly. They gave each other some kisses yesterday afternoon, too much fun.

Wow, David is really good at feeding himself with a spoon! Quite impressive! Maybe Jada should take some eating tips from super-eater David. :-)
