Fall is here!

In addition to the much anticipated return of Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Latte, Autumn weather seems to be creeping in. We spent a fair amount of the last month making the rounds to visit family one last time before boy #2 arrives and brought back a box of crisp, fresh apples hand-picked by my dad from this last weekend, yum! And the best part is, David actually eats them now! He has always been a bit of a stinker about fresh fruit/veggie textures, but in the last few months he has added apples, bell peppers and a few other tasty tidbits to his diet, hooray! He is full of energy these days- running, jumping, bouncing and climbing everywhere.
This past week I took him to toddler storytime at the library for the first time after which we walked down by the ponds to watch the ducks- he did really well and I think he enjoyed it, especially the singing and dancing. On Saturday we went to a local pumpkin patch to get out and enjoy the sunshine- Ross showed David how to drum on the pumpkins after which he had a wonderful time walking all over the field finding pumpkins and patting them.
