All tired out after a hard day of work...
Yesterday was a big day for David and he could not have been any closer to perfect. In preparation for our big day he had 2!! 3-3.5 hour sleep sessions at night. I was positively hyper all day from all that sleep!
In the morning he slept through bible study and in the afternoon he spent 2 hours at Xerox! He woke up just as we were arriving and was happy and alert up until it was time to go. He even spent ~45 minutes playing with Zhikui so that I could finish some things up with Lynd; what a sweetheart! (and thank you Zhikui for helping out!)

Favorite Toys
David's current favorite toys (to the best of my knowledge) are this little red bird and the blue rattle at top right. He will stare at them and successfully hits them from time to time (not sure how intentional that is yet..). He has no interest whatsoever in the lonely green/blue bird hanging from the other corner...

Reading the newspaper with dad right before bedtime...

Taking a short nap after some good playtime with Grandma and Grandpa while mom was getting an extra hour of sleep :)

How could this possibly be comfortable?
David has started to really enjoy taking the world in from this angle. At first I would try to move him around to a more normal neck position, but even if I toss him over my shoulder, he just picks his head up and gets back to this position. What a silly little man!
