Oh dear; it's been quite an interesting couple weeks over here, rather traumatic actually. We've had some serious transportation issues in the household over the past month or two starting with car issues, then Ross's bicycle blowing up, then another car issue and then we topped it all off with stroller problems if you can believe it! Then you toss in a broken washing machine, an inordinate amount of rather dirty blowouts (leading to sinks full of soap-soaking yucky baby clothes...and sheets), nap fighting, never-ending pursuance of David's birth certificate and it just starts to look like a very pitiful month!
But we have had some happy memories despite all of the ridiculous-ness; David now gives high 5s quite proficiently and just started saying "mom mom mom" yesterday- in addition to calling me momomom, he also just babbles it of course, but it's still pretty nice! We have had some good times cooking and swinging with Amber and Jada (who is just about the speediest crawl-er I have EVER seen!) and David still loves bathtime and anticipating dad's return home from work. He is growing up fast with his 4 little teeth and looking more and more like Ross every day I think (I am glad he still has my eyes, but looking forward to seeing him continue to grow strong and tall like his daddy) We still enjoy storytime, but not as much as dancing in the kitchen (perhaps to some Christmas music now and then...) or watching the neighborhood kids and dogs (he 'barks' at dogs now!! -- I think he's already starting to work on his dad because he knows it'll be a big job to convince Ross of his need for a puppy when he's a little bigger!)
We'll wrap up tonight with a few more pictures of David enjoying swings in the park (thanks Amber!)...
