First I want to apologize for the terrible video quality...I just use our little digital camera, so they aren't great, but it's fun to catch the little man in action...
We have had an exciting few days!! Hiking with dad, visiting Jada's church for her dedication, play date with Jada on Monday (including a ~10 min segment of sitting up all on his own!! Wow David!) and then off with Erin to visit Felicity! David is recovering from all the excitement by sleeping in this morning after going to bed early, which is great as it gives me time for a much-needed blog update!
David's newest discovery-- voice exploration.
On Saturday, Ross took us out hiking/walking in Vernonia and David was practicing this noise ALL day long! We had a wonderful time, but are ready for him to move on to the next sound...
David watching his hands and moving about with occasional breaks to smile at mom
(This is a long one, don't feel obligated to watch it all...)
Oh...and he is definitely following in his dad's footsteps. Right after this he rolled/scooched/rolled right over to an electrical outlet to check it out! We just may have a little electrical engineer in the making...
All dressed up and ready to go to Jada's dedication last Sunday, doesn't he look so grown up?!?

Headed out for his first walk in the backpack!! (He loved it!)
"Mom...I'm busy playing with Jada!"
[This is a rare catch of Jada as she is not smiling- normally she is just smiling big all day long...she was a little traumatized because David knocked over a tower of stacking cups :( Apparently she is just not the destructive type...]
Can you tell he likes playing with Jada?
Sharing a sweet potato-rice cereal meal with Jada (as you can see he is impatient with my picture-taking and is reaching for his food bowl to finish the job himself...)
On Monday, David's newest cousin arrived-- Felicity!! We headed up with Erin Monday night so that we could meet her on Tuesday morning, she is a cutie!
Had to get some late-night exercise in...
Morning snuggles with the cousins before heading to the hospital!
David loves his buddy Xander and can't wait to be able to walk around and play with him more! Xander gives David lots of hugs and kisses- they are going to be great friends!

Thanks so much for the great pics & updates! David is such a tall little man (standing next to Xander). I think it's so funny that David knocked the tower down then Jada was upset that he did it. Ha ha ha. That's a little boy & a little girl alright! Felicity is so beautiful; how exciting that David has a new little cousin. Miss you, friend!
Wow, great pics Becky! I love the mohawk he's starting to rock. Congrats to Holly and Zac too! Wow!
Love seeing the updates. Wish I could actually see David in person... someday...

I love seeing the videos and pics, Becky, he is so adorable! He is really getting into the fun, fast-changing, growing up stage now! What a delightful little, tall man you have there! Love you all!
